Weight distribution systems have a tongue weight range, essentially the spring bar effective window. When selecting a system, you want your loaded tongue weight to fall within that window. If the tongue weight is more, the spring bars will be ineffective and could bend or break. If the tongue weight is below that window, you will have a very stiff ride and could even end up losing traction on the rear vehicle wheels.

I will make some recommendations based on your 800/7000 figures. If this is not the loaded weight, write back and let me know what the loaded weights are. Since the system you were looking at includes sway control, I will recommend other systems with included/integrated sway control systems.

We have 400-800 pound tongue weight systems, but you want your tongue weight to fall in the middle. a kit with a 600-1200 pound tongue weight range would be better suited. If you wanted to use a friction sway control style, I would suggest Reese kit, part # RP66560. This kit would be the best choice if trailer had a surge coupler.

Considering the length, 32 ft, of your trailer, I would be concerned about sway problems and would choose a Dual-Cam style sway control system instead. In that case, I would choose part # RP66084. It utilizes the Dual-Cam sway control system and includes everything short of a hitch ball like # 19286 needed to set up the weight distribution system and the dual cam sway control.

I have added links to these kits below as well as to a video install of the Dual-Cam Sway Control and weight distribution system I recommended.
