Tow Ready 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness # 118405 is a confirmed fit for the 2014 Mazda 3 Sedan. This harness fits both sedans and hatchbacks, and also both LED-light-equipped versions AND those with standard incandescent lights.
The harness is indeed a plug-and-play type that requires no cutting of your car's wires. Most of the installation consists of making plug-in connections at the car's taillights. The only actual splice to be made is for the harness' power wire which will be run up to the engine compartment. A video and article are linked to help you with your installation.
