Drilling is required to install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36262 on your 1999 Volvo C70 convertible. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to look over. This is the only hitch option that will fit your vehicle.

If you plan on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # 36061. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring you can use # C59236. Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual for more information on towing with your vehicle.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier make sure the accessory fits a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. I have included links to the bike racks and cargo carriers that fit 1-1/4 inch hitches for you.
