Hitch Availability for a 2011 Ford F350 with 8 Bed and 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Trailer Tow Prep Package

Question:

I am buying a 2011 Ford F350 with 8 bed to tow a 5th wheel. I notice on Fords web site that an option from them is a 5th wheel/gooseneck Trailer Tow Prep Package. The picture on their web site also shows a Reese Custom hitch in the bed. My question is, Will any of your Reese hitches fit this option. I will need a 16K. And is a kit needed also or does the Reese bolt straight on into the Prep Kit that already exists in the bed of the Ford.

Congratulations on the new Truck! Yes, we do have a hitch that will install directly into the Ford 5th wheel/gooseneck trailer tow prep package on the 2011 Ford F-350 with a 8 foot bed.

The Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - 20,000 lbs, item # RP30921, will slide right into the pucks in the bed of the truck.

The M5 Series hitches start at 20,000 pounds capacity and a 16K hitch is not available at this time.
