Since you have a short bed truck you will need to go with a slider hitch to allow you the clearance to make tight turns without cab interference. I really like the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550034 because it will automatically slide when you are in a tight turn. Other sliders require you to get out and manually operate the slider which be somewhat of a hassle.

I attached a review video that shows this hitch being used and sliding.

For a rail kit you would also want a custom install kit since they will minimize drilling and install time when compared to a universal kit. For that you would want the Demco Kit part # DM8552011-71.
