I have a solution for you to see if the # HLY84FR will provide you with the clearance you need and work for your truck.
After you've confirmed that the receiver is the proper size, I would recommend measuring the distance between your hitch and tailgate when the tailgate is down. I have measured the # HLY84FR and when the rack is unloaded and the mast is folded down it gives me a measurement of about 10 inches.
To see if your measurement matches mine you will need to drop your tailgate and measure from the inside top of your hitch receiver opening to the tailgate to get your measurement. If it is greater than 10 inches then this rack would be a good choice for your truck.
If you wanted to lower your tailgate while the bikes were loaded, this bike rack does feature the ability to tilt down while the bikes are loaded but depending on your bike this measurement can differ. When I did it with a bike in the closest position, the measurement was 11 inches from the outside of the closest wheel loop. If you decide to carry only one bike and it's mounted in the furthest position from the tailgate you would have about 20 inches of clearance before coming into contact with the center mast. It is important to note that Hollywood Racks recommends to have your bike mounted in the position closest to the vehicle when traveling.
