Recommendations For Using Prodigy P2 Brake Controller In 2015 Silverado 1500 And 2006 Nissan Titan
Question:
I have 2 trucks that I would like to have 1 controller to utilize in either vehicle to pull my trailer. The first is a 2006 Nissan Titan and the second is a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. I was looking at the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 with a second mounting pocket and whip. Will this be applicable to both trucks. Thanks for the help.

TheTekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 would work great for both vehicles.
For the Silverado, the plug-in adapter you would need for the brake controller is part # 3016. The connector on the truck is located behind the junction box cover under the dash to the left of the brake pedal. You just open the junction box and plug one end of the adapter into the appropriate connector.
On your Titan, you will need the plug-in adapter, part # 3050-P. The connector on the Titan will be under the dash to the left of the steering column and may be taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
If your Titan does not have the factory tow package, you will also need part # N40975. This will include the 7-way and 4-way connector that gets installed into the vehicle plug behind the bumper, and also includes the 3 relays needed to activate the wiring harness. The relays will be installed in the fuse panel located just behind the battery in the engine compartment.
To install the P2 in the second vehicle I recommend part # P7685. This comes with the bracket, mounting screws and butt connectors needed.
I have attached links to some installation videos and a product review video you can check out.
