Comparison of Available Hitches and Towing Accessories for 2016 Mazda CX-5
Question:
I have a 2016 Mazda CX5 GT with LED lights. Looking to get a Class 3 trailer hitch, ball mount and the proper plug and play wiring. What is the difference between the available hitches? Will the wiring kit work with LED lights?

The available Draw-Tite Class III, part # 76138 has a slightly higher capacity than the Curt Class III, part # C13315. The Draw-Tite is a bit less expensive, but the Curt model is very slightly easier to install.
For a plug and play trailer wiring harness, use part # 118563 which is compatible regardless of whether or not your vehicle is equipped with LED taillights.
For a ball mount, use part # 2753, and for a trailer ball, use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
