Replacement Mounting Hardware for Thule Rooftop Cargo Box
Question:
I have an old 76inch thule roof cargo box and I need replacement hardware to secure it to my new minivan. The rails are ~3.5 inches wide, so I can use the holes in the box that are 4inch apart - but prefer to get hardware that gives me the option to use the 4inch or the 6inch holes. Can you suggest a product for me? Most websites seem to sell hardware that either works for Thule rails or acts to convert for bike/ski racks. Thanks.

We offer many replacement mounting hardware kits for Thule rooftop cargo boxes that can be seen on the included link. Some of these are original-style parts and other kits may be updated versions, depending on the series, model and age of your box. There may be a more updated hardware kit that will allow you to mount your box to the elliptical crossbars on your minivan.
Some of these kits are specific to a certain cargo box and others can be used as general-purpose replacements; some kits may require you to slightly modify the box to add a new hole or two.
Kit # TH04997, for example, fits Thule Adventurer, Cascade, Excursion, Frontier, or Mountaineer roof-rack cargo boxes.
