Is the denim tire cover water proof, what is the best material for a soft tire cover

Black Denim is the color of the Bestop spare tire cover # B6103115. The material is not actual denim. The material does keep out water and is mildew and ultra-violet resistant. As far as high quality spare tire covers go you can't do much better than a Bestop cover.
