Ball Mount with No Rise or Drop for a 2015 Subaru Forester and Class III Trailer Hitch
Question:
If I understand correctly, the Draw-Tite #75876 has a top of opening height of 14inch when installed. I have two trailers that both measure approximately 14inch to the bottom of the tongue. This tells me I need a 0inch drop hitch, which does not seem to exist. Please make a recommendation.

There are some ball mounts that have no rise but a little bit of rise in your situation would be fine. The tongue weight of the trailer will pull down at the ball mount a little to compensate. Ball mount # D-4 is one option for use with Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75876 for your 2015 Subaru Forester. This ball mount has just a 3/4 inch rise.
Or you could use the ball mount in the drop position (it has a 2 inch drop) and then use ball # C40034 which has a 2 inch rise to get it to a no rise or drop. You will also need the Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3.
