Availability of Drop Shank for Weight Distribution Systems

Question:

Hi Team, I have a weight distribution system from Elite that I used on my Toyota Sienna to pull my trailer. Now I changed car and have a Suburban 2008. And the Adjustable Shank is too high. Which of the Adjustable Weight Distribution Shank would I need to be able to set it up properly for my suburban?

Expert Reply:

Most weight distribution systems are designed to fit shanks that have holes that are 1-1/4 inches apart and the holes are 3/4 inches in diameter. You will need to measure the dimensions of the holes on your current shank to see if something like the part # 17120 would fit which has a decent amount of drop.

Or for a larger drop the part # C17123 might work as well.
