What is a tandem axle trailer ? I have a Lance 2285 travel trailer and have just one set of Levelers. Do I need a second set for best results and safety to the trailer ? Thank you,

A tandem axle trailer is one that has two axles on it. If your trailer has a total of 4 wheels on it then it is a tandem axle trailer.

For tandem axle applications you would want to use two of the part # AM3604 that you referenced.

We had a customer come back and say that they used a miter saw to cut their Levelers part #AM3604 down to the right size and it worked well. That would probably be the safest method so it would be what I would recommend.
