Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2003 Dodge Ram with a 4-Way
Question:
what if my 2003 dodge only had the flat 4 pig tail, what all else will I need. I will be pulling 2 axle cargo trailer.

For converting your 4-way to a 7-way you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # 37185 and part # 3020-P. Brake (blue) wire does not run all the way back to the 4-pole at the rear; it stops at the connector that is located under the driver's side wheel well. In order to finalize the installation you must splice into this wire and continue it to the blue wire of the # 37185.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
