Can Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, Mount On Lower Dash Slope On 2000 Chevy Express

Can I mount the controller on the slope of the lower dash.. It looks like the only area to mount it. Its a 2000 chevy express van 1500. what unit do I need for 4 brakes.

Yes, you can mount the Tekonsha PRODIGY P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, on the slope of the lower dash. The Prodigy brake controller can be mounted from 0 degrees to 360 degrees vertically in the direction of travel. The front of the Prodigy has to be horizontal.
The Tekonsha PRODIGY P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, will work for 2, 4, 6 and 8 brake systems.
If you have the 7-wire Tow Package on your 2000 Chevy Express then you will use the Hopkins Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, # 37185, to complete your wiring.
You might also need the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors, # 30955, if your vehicle does not have the bundle of wires in the jack storage compartment, but has the OEM round plug with a cap located above the spare tire.
If you do not have the 7-wire Tow Package on your vehicle then you will need the Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, and the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118377.
