Can a Curt E16 5th Wheel Hitch Head Be Put on a Reese Slider Base
Question:
Can I put the head from a Curt E16 on the Reese pro series slider?

Expert Reply:
The Curt head and Reese slider base are not compatible. Also it would void the warranty on both parts and make the capacity unknown since they are not tested together. You would need the Curt slider base # C16560. The Curt slider offers more travel, 12 inches, than the Reese sliders and on a short bed truck every inch counts!
