Replacement Triple Step Recommendation for a 2012 Fun Finder RV Trailer
Question:
this is a follow up to a question asked about steps earlier today. I am trying to replace the OEM 2 step access steps on our 2012 fun Finder trailer with a 3 step unit. I just measured the brackets on the trailer and find it too narrow for all steps Ive seen. As I look around the web and particularly on your site and the Stromberg site, I am finding that everything posted for after market is about 27.5inch mounting width, while I only have 25-3/8inch max. Is there any thing on the market that I can just replace or am I going to have to take it to a welder to have the mounts cut and re-welded 2inch wider?

For a triple step for your RV the Lippert part # LC432687 could be made to work on your trailer. If your current mounting brackets are welded to your trailer you could have them removed and then rewelded to the appropriate position.
The overall width of the mounting brackets of this step are 27-1/2 inches and the mounting holes are 26-1/4 inches apart.
