Is Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Dual Cam Sway Control the Best Way to Control Sway
Question:
Reese Straightline Dual Cam WD towing system. The Cams do wear over time. When should the cam part be replaced? Also wondering if this system is the best to control sway?

Expert Reply:
The Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution Systems with Dual Cam Sway Control, is an active system which prevents sway. The cams on this system lock into position to hold the trailer steady which means sway is stopped before it can even begin where as other systems just reduce sway.
The Straight-Line systems are very popular with our customers and highly recommended by us here at etrailer.
As for the cams, these will not need to be replaced unless there is damage or excessive signs of wear.
