Replacement A-Frame Jack for 6750 lb Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a travel trailer that has a dry weight of 5650 lbs. Plus a contents load 1100 lbs. Ive looked for any info on the existing jack and there is nothing. Now, on the camper's tongue, there is a 2100 lb. tongue weight stamped on the tongue. Can you tell me what jack I need? The dimensions on my jack, from the triangle flange to the external gearing is 14. I removed the cover to expose the gears and found a tooth missing on the gear that is attached to the handle. Thank You

From your description, it sounds like you're needing an A-frame jack. Given the weights you've provided, your trailer likely has a maximum tongue weight of around 1000 lbs. I typically recommend folks go with the heaviest capacity jack they can, this makes for easy operation and long life for the trailer jack because it's only using a percentage of its capacity.
The etrailer.com # TJA-5000S-B with its 5000 lb capacity would be a great choice. The bracket to the top of the jack is similar to your existing jack at 15 inches. The jack offers 15 inches of lift. If you need a footplate, use part # JF-99. This is a great product, and this particular jack is highly rated by our customers as you can see by reading the customer reviews on the product page.
