Can I Move Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller from 2000 GMC Sonoma to 2015 Chevy Colorado
Question:
I just purchased a Colorado with tow package factory 7pin/ 4 pin plug and want to install my 90160 brake controller that i I am removing from my GMC 2000 Sonoma. Any concerns ?

I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and he confirmed that you can move your Tekonsha Primus
IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 to your 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. You will simply connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash and you will be ready to rock.
I have included an installation video which shows the Primus being installed on a Chevy van. The installation will be similar.
