Adding 7 and 4 Way Trailer Connector to 2005 Nissa Xterra
Question:
118266 will install on Nissan Xterra 2005.... because yes I need the relays. Is there another vehicle mount that is both 7 pin and 4 pin. I have both a pop up and and an old trailer? Im hoping I can hook this 7 pin harness into a vehicle mount whereas I can use a 4 pin or 7 pin at any given time. Also will need mount bracket for such.

To convert the 4-Way flat trailer connector # C56225 on your Nissan Xterra to a 4 and 7 way connector, you will need Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, # 37185. You will plug the 4-Way into the back of the adapter and hardwire the remaining 4 wires. This part comes with a mounting bracket.
Part # 118266 includes the required relays.
To refrain from doing any hardwiring you can use # 118266 and # HM40975.
