Timbren Rear Suspension Installation On 2015 Ram 1500
Question:
How do I install the Timbren springs on a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500? Is drilling required? Will it stiffen the ride? Will the springs be touching the axle and the frame at the same time once installed?

To install the Timbren Vehicle Suspension # TDR1500DQ on your 2015 Ram 1500, you will first want to raise your vehicle so the axle can hang freely. Then, you will remove the factory bump stops on your vehicle. Position the spring assembly into the bump stop cup and secure with bolt and nut. Put some soapy water on the top of the spring assembly to help it slide into the bump stop cup on the vehicle. Push and twist simultaneously to insert the spring into the bump stop cup. In order to ensure the spring is fully in the bump stop cup, place a small piece of 2x4 wood between the axle and the spring, and lower the vehicle. The weight of the vehicle will help push the spring tightly into the bump stop cup. You can repeat this with a second piece of 2x4 to ensure a fully secure spring.
There is no drilling required to install the Timbren springs on your Ram 1500.
The springs will not rest on the axle when you are not towing and will not stiffen your ride when empty, but it will add support for the factory suspension when you are hauling heavy loads.
I have attached an installation video of these springs on a 2014 Ram 1500 for you. I have also attached pictures with the installation directions from Timbren.
