Will brake controller run down my vehical battery If I leave brake controller 90195 connected in my 2008 Chev Silverado.

The Tekonsha P-3 will go into a sleep mode after several minutes of no activity. The power draw while in this sleep mode is so small that it is really not worth worrying about, certainly not enough to discharge your battery.

If it would make you feel better, you could unplug the harness from the rear of the unit if the vehicle will be left for long periods of time.
