Will The Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier Transport a 2010 KTM 250 XC on a 2003 Nissan Xterra

Can this rack be mounted on the rear of a 2003 Nissan xterra V6 with tow package to carry a 2010 KTM 250 XC, and what about ability to carry a 5 gallon gas can

You should have no problem using this on a back of a 2003 Xterra as long as it has a 2 inch receiver hitch. Find the combined weight of the carrier (65 pounds) and the KTM 250 XC (215.20 pounds) and check the hitch markings and the Xterra owner manual to make sure it has at least a 290 pound tongue weight capacity.

We recommend using ratchet straps, like part # SS6-SL14, to secure a motorcycle to these carriers.

I do not know that you could securely attach a gas can to the rack. It would probably be better to put the gas can on the roof of the Xterra and take advantage of the large, solid roof rack.
