How to Swap Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 Between Vehicles
Question:
Do you sell only the wiring harness for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller? I have two vehicles I use for towing but only need the controller for one at a time. I already have the P3 but need another harness so I can swap the controller between cars. Thanks

Has the controller already been installed in both vehicles? Depending on the year, make and model, the vehicle might have a connector under the dash that the controller would plug right into. If this is the case, please reply with the year, make and model and I'll be happy to make some suggestions. Usually, full sized trucks and SUV's will have the connector.
If the vehicles don't have the connector, the controller would need to be hardwired using our Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7. The vehicles would also need a functional 4 pole trailer connector. I can make suggestions when you reply with information about both vehicles. If the controller is hardwired, we offer some quick-disconnect pigtails that would work.
Part # 20127 is a 12 inch long quick disconnect harness or if you need longer wires, use part # 7894 which is 34 inches long.
You'll also want another bracket for the P3, part # TK5906.
