Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for a 2015 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
C13120 This trailer hitch mentions bike racks etc need additional support, please expand on this subject ... I have a dirt bike hitch carrier that I occasionally use. Also mentioned is that the wiring harness will not work with LED lights to use the alternate what is the alternate? Will this work with electric brakes? Actually the Curt Hitch part # C13120 does not require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack. The other Curt hitch part # C13066 that has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Hyudai Tucson would require the use of the strap since it is not rated for use with a weight distribution system.
If a Curt hitch is not rated for a WD system then they recommend the use of the # 18050.
If you have LED trailer lights the correct wiring harness would be # C59496. If you do not have LEDs then you would want the part # C56348
