Recommended Friction Sway Control for 25-Foot Coleman Niagara Pop-Up Camper
Question:
Hi, my husband and I are wondering what would be the best anti sway bar kit for us. We have a 2010 Acadia, and our camper is a Coleman Niagara, 3200 UVW

Expert Reply:
A 25-foot pop-up like your Coleman Niagara is right near the length where we begin to recommend a second sway-control device. You are certainly free to use just one if you prefer but two friction-type units will naturally have more ability to control trailer sway.
The linked page will show you all friction sway control units like the economical Reese # 83660 as well as units like the Curt # 17200.
You will also need a sway control bracket like # RP26003 that fits over your ball mount or you can use the weld-on tab # 3442 on your existing ball mount. We also offer a ball mount with the tab in place, part # D320, as well as an adjustable type # 7390.
Always disengage the sway control before backing up your camper.
