Replacement A-Frame Jack for Salt Water Boat Trailer

Question:

Need a new A-Frame Jack. Mine is a Fulton Model# 0926002, 1000# Capacity. Its a two hole model with holes spaced 4inch apart, center to center. \ Its for a boat trailer that sees lots of salt water. Do you have anything that can bolt in with just two holes spaced 4inch apart? Would not mind upgrading from 1000#. Marine would be best. Thanks.

It is always a good idea to use a higher-capacity jack than what you may actually need since this means the jack mechanism will not be operated near its maximum capacity which is good for its reliability and a longer working lifespan.

A-frame jacks typically have a 3-hole mounting pattern. I do not know of any with a 2-hole mount. This mounting arrangement would not provide enough stability and could result in jack damage.

If you click on the link provided you will be able to see all Fulton a-frame jacks, including the 2000-lb-rated Fulton F2 # F1413250334. This jack does not come with a caster wheel but you can add one, part # F500266, which still lets the overall jack/wheel assembly retain a 1600-lb rating.
