Can Mounting Brackets be Moved on Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring
Question:
Can the mounting brackets be moved out to 82inch to mount where my one mounts now?

It is not recommended to adjust any of the parts attached to the main tube of a spring like # CB250D96SHD because of the tension on the springs. Only a certified garage door installer should make adjustments.
While it is possible to move the brackets it would be easier to just move the top L-brackets to point out instead of in or just replace them with longer L-brackets to fit the mounts you have.
