I called my contact at Tekonsha and they have not had a chance to install a brake controller on a 2015 Sprinter. You will need to do some testing and hardwire the installation.
I recommend using a circuit tester like part # 40376. You will want to test the wires under the dash for function.
I recommend a brake controller like part # 90885. This is a proportional brake controller that sends a signal to the brakes in direct proportion to the brakes applied in your Sprinter.
The wires from the brake controller should be attached in the following manner: The Black wire should be run to the positive post on the battery via a 20 A circuit breaker. The White wire is run to the negative side of the battery. The Blue wire will be run to the trailer connector. The red wire is attached to the cold side of the stop light switch. Using the tester you want to locate the wire that only show current when the brake pedal is pressed, and at no other time. I am not certain of the color wire you will have on the Sprinter but it should be a pink wire with a green stripe. It is always best to thoroughly test to make sure.
If you have a 4-way connector at the back of your Sprinter, you will need part # ETBC7. This attaches to the 4-way and with additional wiring as shown in the attached video, you will have a 7-way connector at the back of your vehicle to that connects to the trailer.
I also recommend a bracket like part # 18138 to secure the 7-Way connector.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
