To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

For a trailer that maxes out at 9.900 pound gross trailer weight the tongue weight would be 990 to 1,485 pounds. If you determine the total tongue weight to be in that range then I recommend a system rated for 800 to 1,500 pounds tongue weight # RP66130 for a system that comes with dual-cam sway control or # RP66131 that does not include sway control.

System # RP66131 also does not come with a shank so you would need to add one. I have linked the shanks that will work. And for any of the systems you will need a properly sized ball, # C40086 for a 2-5/16 inch.

If your tongue weight ends up being between 600 and 1,200 pounds then I recommend # RP66084 for a dual-cam system, # RP66560 for a friction system, or # RP66542 for no sway control. For these systems you would just need a ball # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch.

I have included some help links on weight distribution and determining tongue weight for you.
