How to Wire Brake Controller 2011 Jeep Liberty
Question:
my 2011 liberty did not have a 7 pin connector hook up when I mounted hitch for trailer connector. Will that mean then that is not a connector to plug in the controller under dash? If not, do you have a dash wiring diagram for wiring controller? Thanks for any help

To install the Prodigy Brake Controller, # 90195, in your 2011 Jeep Liberty without a 7-way connection you will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want part # 118554. I have included a video that will walk you through the installation process.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7.
