Best Looking Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying Carbon Framed Bikes
Question:
Hello, i just purchased a 2014 Porsche Cayenne that has a tow hitch receiver on it from the factory I think its a 2. I have a road bike with a carbon frame and I would like a high quality bike rack for everything. I would like a rack that looks good when Im not using it to carry bikes and also be somewhat out of the way. Because this vehicle has an automatic opening/closing hatch, im concerned about having the ability for the rack to be completely out of the way when we access the hatch as well. Am I looking at the best rack for all of this? Thank you!

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G that you referenced would be an excellent choice for you as it uses wheel mounts to attach your bike so which means your carbon frame won't be touched at all when carrying. This rack can also tilt away when loaded for rear hatch access.

The only rack I would recommend over the Sherpa is the Kuat NV 2 part # NV22G . This rack is similar except it has nicer wheel cradles, has a built in bike stand for if you had to work on your bike while out riding, and has a really nice looking matte black and chrome finish. It is one of the coolest looking bike racks out there. I also attached a review video for this rack as well.
