Question:

TRAILER HAS 5 WIRES: GR,GR/BR,YEL,YEL/BR andWH. 4 WAY FLAT PLUG HAS GR ,YL,BR-ACCESORY,and WH. Problem: tie yel/yel brown and tie gr/gr brown together will have turn signals and brakes....but leaves acc brown wire not attached no running lights. If I tie br acc wire into all yellows I have running lights with no signal/turn?? cant get signal and running lights to operate at same time.??

The trailer has a wishbone harness on it. The green wire is right turn signal/brake lights, yellow is left turn signal/brake lights. White is the ground. The green/brown is the running light wire for the right side and the yellow/brown is the running light wire for the left side.

Take a look at # A35W42B which is a wishbone harness too. The running light pin, directly next to the ground pin, has 2 wires coming from it. They are both running light wires. This is so you don't have to run a jumper wire from one side of the trailer to the other to get running lights on both sides.
