Did the P3 Ever Have a Different Mounting Range for Installation
Question:
How can I tell if my Tekonsha P3 is the newer version with the upgraded 3 axis accelerometer? It would be great if it can be identified by the serial number. Thank you!

Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Tekonsha and he informed me that the P3 hasn't had any major overhauls since it's development. All versions of it have the same 3 axis accelerometer.
You may be thinking of the P2 # 90885 that did get updated so that it's mounting range was increased.
Your P3 has the full mounting range that they all have.
