2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab Tube Step Recommendation
Question:
My Ram came with the OE steps that bolted to the inside of the rocker. After a while the two bottom bolts on the front drivers side started pulling the nutserts out of the rocker. No matter how much I try to tighten them, the bracket wont sit flush and the step stays loose. I saw an etrailer video showing the installation of some Westin steps on a Ram that bolted to the body/bed mounts and then hung from the top hole in the rocker. I attached a picture that I was able to find. Can you tell me what side steps you have that are installed that way and will fit my truck? Thanks.

Judging by the picture you submitted it looks like you were looking at a set of the Westin Tube Steps part # 22-6035-1905. This would be a great choice for you if you are looking for this style of attachment. All of the other steps use a different attachment style that are confirmed to fit your model truck.
