Accessing Wiring To Install Pop and Lock # PAL8250 Tailgate Lock on 2013 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Question:
Where would I find the wires for easiest access and what color are they for drivers side ? Passenger side?

Expert Reply:
For a regular cab truck, Pop & Lock recommends accessing the wires behind the driver's and passenger side kick panel. On the driver's side, you're looking for the Gray wire with a tan stripe and the light blue wire with the green stripe. On the passenger side, look for the gray wire with the tan stripe and the purple wire with the gray stripe.
I've also linked you to an install video showing the # PAL8250 being installed on a 2012 F150 Crew Cab. The procedure for accessing the wires on a 4 door truck is different, but the rest of the video should be helpful.
