Thank you for providing great detailed information! It's appreciated.
It's important that you check your owners manual on your 1998 GMC Savana Van or contact your local GM dealer to see if your vehicle is rated for weight distribution. Adding a system won't increase the towing capacity and it's important to ensure the tongue weight capacity of your trailer does not exceed the tongue weight capacity of your Van.
If you determine your Van can support the 2008 Zinger, then to choose a weight distribution system by the total tongue weight of the towing set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
One weight distribution system I recommend is the Reese Steadi-Flex, part # RP66559, because it has a tongue weight capacity between 500-1,000 pounds and an adjustable shank is included. I also choose this system because you stated your 2008 Zinger 19RD trailer dry tongue weight is 535 pounds.
If you need a hitch ball, I recommend the Curt # A-90 because it will have a maximum capacity of 7,500 pounds. The ball diameter is 2-inches.
The mirror extension I recommend is the CIPA dual-view clip on towing mirror # 11953 because it will fit most applications (7 to 10 inch tall mirrors) and installation is quite easy.
The overall length of this mirror is 14-1/2 inches.
I included a great article about weight distribution for you too.
