Replacement 10x2-1/4 Inch Electric Trailer Brakes
Question:
removed brakes using 11/16 wrench, on nuts.willyour brakes work on my unit.backing plate had studs attached.

The mounting studs on trailer brake assembly # K23-478-00 are 7/16 inch requiring the 7/16 inch nut # 6-17. You would also want to use lock washer # 5-8. This is a standard size for 10x2-1/4 inch brakes. The outer diameter of the nuts is larger of course so it is not surprising that the wrench you used was larger.
