How do you access the handle if there is a wheel liner on a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 HD SRW?

In the installation instructions for the B and W Companion Rail Kit part # BWGNRK1012-5W that you referenced it states that some trimming of fender liners can be required. If you check out the install video that I attached around the 1:15 mark we show how to remove the fender liner so that the hitch can be installed.
You'll notice that at the end of the video the handle for the hitch hangs lower than the fender liner so it was not needed to be trimmed. The vehicle in this video is a 2015 GM truck just like yours.
