Revised Curt Trailer Hitch Installation Instructions for 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude
Question:
I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. The installation instructions say to lower the exhaust pipe first but on the 2015 model, the exhaust goes thru a chrome trim piece on the bumper instead of fitting under the bumper therefore you cannot lower the exhaust pipe without removing the trim pieces first. Do you have any revised instructions available?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said the installation instructions for part # C13172 pertain to all Jeep Cherokee models, and are not specific to the Latitude. This can cause some confusion. What you will want to do is temporarily remove the fascia before lowering the exhaust pipe. After that you can follow the instructions as they are set down. I have included a link to those instructions for you to check out as well as an installation video.
