Dimensions of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount/Clevis/Pintle # AMCC2
Question:
What is the distance from the tang BALL HOLE on center to the back of the tangs where the 2inch square stock begins. I plan to a 2inch square stock tube 3foot long and use this Amcc2 as a swivel point. Plan to run a bolt top to bottom through the 2inch square stock and then this becomes a swivel point. Once bolted I need to be sure that it can swivel/pivot out at least 45 degrees . Need to move spare outside on a rack. Hummer H2 .. using bolt on 2inch receiver to rear passenger side bumper. Then using this AMCC2. Plan to cut both this part and the bolt on plate for minimum clearance then weld the two parts together. So the AMCC2 has a clearance of 2inch between tangs. Once I the 3 long 2inch tube stock and bolt it on to make swivel, this will take up 2inch from end of tang towards the rear of the tang so what is left moving toward the rear.?
