Availability of Trailer Axle/Hub That Can Accept 6-Lug Spare Tire/Wheel from Import Toyota
Question:
I want to build a trailer with an axle that can use same spare tire as my 265/70-16 6 lug hole pattern. Where can I buy that? Thanks!

Thank you for providing a photo of the Toyota 6-lug wheel for which you wish to find a matching trailer axle.
You will first want to refer to the linked article on wheel bolt patterns to verify the exact pattern used on your wheel. The article explains how to confirm this with a few simple measurements.
We do offer complete axle kits that include hubs, bearing, races, seals, etc, but these are not offered in a 6-bolt pattern as these higher capacity axles are too heavy to ship. Please see the included link.
You may need to purchase an axle beam/spindles locally and find matching hubs, bearings, races and seals that will fit. You need to be sure you match the weight capacity of the hubs to the axle capacity. You also have to ensure that the hubs you select use a bearing set that is correct for the spindles on your axle. I also included a link to our main page for hubs, which include idler hubs (no brakes), hubs with integrated drums (for drum brake applications) and hubs with a rotor (for disc brake applications).
We offer two different 6-lug wheel bolt patterns: the more common 6-on-5-1/2-inch and also 6-on-6-inch. You can click on the appropriate pattern (once you've confirmed which you have using the article) and then check for hubs or hubs/drums with the right capacity and bearing set for your axle and spindles.
Our 6-on-5-1/2-inch hubs use inner bearings 25580 and L68149; and outer bearings 15123, L44649 and LM67048. Our 6-on-6-inch hubs use inner bearings 25580 and 29749; and outer bearing LM67048.
Please note that passenger car tires should NOT be used on a trailer. Trailer tires carry a ST designation that stands for "Special Trailer" tire. A trailer tire is built differently from a passenger tire and has stiffer sidewalls to handle the vertical load from the trailer. Neither tire type should be used in the other application.
Please feel free to let me know your wheel bolt pattern and intended axle weight rating and I will be glad to work with you to try to find compatible parts.
