Is Brake Light Relay Required to Tow 2000 Jeep Wrangler Using Even Brake and Bulb and Socket Kit
Question:
If I install this on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler, do I need to use the Brake-Lite relay or stop light switch kit that comes with the RM 9400? Thanks.

According to Roadmaster the 2000 Jeep Wrangler does not require the use of the brake light relay that is included with the Even Brake, # RM-9400, when flat towing the vehicle. Also, the bulb and socket kit # RM-155 bypasses the vehicle wiring so that combined with the information from Roadmaster is a double whammy that you will not have to use the brake light relay.
