Installing Roadmaster Brite-Lite Converter # RM-732 with Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit # RM-155

Question:

In one of the reviews I read that using the Brite-Lite will increase the brightness of the tail lights. How would this be wired. I will be connecting from a 7-way Bargman on the motor home to a 6-way on the toad. I will be using the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs on the toad.

The Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732 can deliver brighter light output than other brands of similar products. It takes in separate stop and turn signals on 3 wires on its right-hand side and outputs combined stop/turn signals on two wires on its left-hand side. Please refer to the linked photo.

The converter wires in upstream of the connector on the MH. The running light circuit from the MH will bypass the converter and go directly to the diodes in kit # RM-155. I have attached a wiring schematic to illustrate. To convert from 7-way to 6-way you can use adapter # HM47570 from Hopkins. This adapter allows you to select the pin out for the 6-way. You might refer to the linked article on wiring for further illustration.
