The stock Lippert 1621 pin box and air-ride pin boxes have some differences.

For example, the Lippert 1621 5th wheel pin box # LC1191191 is a direct replacement for a worn out pin box. Whereas the Fifth Gear 5th wheel air ride coupler # RP78FR will have cushioned shocks with an adjustable air spring and shock absorber. Therefore, reducing longitudinal shock or chucking by nearly 60 percent and decreasing vertical shock by 44 percent.

I included a video review about the Fifth Gear 5th wheel king pin for you to view.
