Recommended Replacement Tire & Wheel for Motorcycle Trailer

Question:

I am looking to replace the tires and wheels on my trailer. I am planning to use the trailer to haul a motorcycle for about 1,500 miles and I will be traveling interstate highways. I would prefer a tire that can handle 70-80 MPH and the weight of the trailer with bike. The bike alone weighs roughly 600 pounds. I am attaching a couple of pictures of the current tires and wheels on the trailer. Thank you for your help and suggestions!

Unless otherwise noted all trailer tires are only rated for up to 65 miles per hour. Going faster than that causes heat to build up which then causes the tires to fail.

For a white wheel and tire that would work as a replacement and would match your current size you would want the part # AM30060. This setup would have a maximum capacity of 760 lbs per tire at 90 psi. With trailer tires you want to have them inflated to their max PSI at all times. Any less pressure will cause the capacity of the tire to be lowered and will also cause heat to build up.

The rim I recommended has a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches, which it looks like what you have. But to be certain check out the help article I attached on the subject.
