Question:
Does hitch with number 12490 fit the scion xb 2010?

Yes. The Curt Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar, # 12490, will fit your 2010 Scion xB. This hitch comes with a drawbar, hitch pin and clip. There is no drilling required with this simple bolt on installation. I have included links to the instructions and an installation video below.
This Class II hitch has a gross trailer weight of 3,500 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. You will need to consult your vehicles owners manual for the xBs specific towing ratings. This hitch cannot be used with weight distribution.
You may also be interested in a hitch ball like # 19258 (1-9/16 inch) or # A-82 (2 inch). Check your trailer coupler to determine the size ball you need. These hitch balls will fit in the drawbar that comes with the hitch. I also recommend Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118468, if you ever plan on towing anything that requires a connection to the vehicle. This wiring has a fairly simple installation process. It plugs in line with your vehicles taillights and provides a 4-pole connection at the rear of the vehicle. I have included a link to the instructions below.
