My contact at SportRack tells me that they haven't come across any fit problems with the H3, but I'd recommend taking two measurements for confirmation.
There are two possible clearance problems you could encounter, if the shank on the rack is long enough to allow the rack to be fully inserted into the receiver so the hitch pin holes line up, and if the rack will swing to the right far enough so that the rear door can be fully opened.
For the first issue, you'd need to measure rearward from your hitch pin hole to the furthest rearward point of your spare tire. If this measurement is LESS than 9-1/2 inches, the rack will install. I've linked an FAQ article that shows exactly how to take this measurement. For the second, measure from the inside left edge of the receiver tube to the right, 37-1/2 inches. This is an approximate location where the back of the rack will be when the rack is fully swung to the right. It's possible you won't be able to fully open the rear door all the way (the H3 is fairly wide) but you'd certainly be able to open it far enough to get decent access to the cargo area.
If at all possible, avoid using an extender. Using an extender will lower the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by half and having the extra piece installed between the product's shank and the vehicle's hitch receiver will cause extra bounce and rattling.
If you'll be carrying women's bikes or bikes with steeply angled top tubes or bikes with a step-through frame, you'll want to use a bike frame adapter like # 64005. An adapter attaches to the seat post and handlebar gooseneck, providing a level attachment point to the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carries so it's level and you wouldn't need to deal with ground clearance problems.
