Recommended Trailer Hitch For 1999 Chevrolet Astro
Question:
Looks like manufacturer label barely readable on the receiver begins with PUL.......... A 1 1/4inch draw bar is too small. A 2inch is too big.Can you recommend a solution? Thanks

The only draw bars we offer are the 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch, which you said is not a fit for your receiver on your 1999 Chevrolet Astro.
My recommendation for you is to install a new trailer hitch like part # 75122. This is a Class lll hitch receiver that has a 2 inch receiver opening. There is no drilling for installation of this hitch and it will work if you have the full size spare mounted under your Astro. This would take the guess work out of ball mount size and being able to use additional accessories in the hitch.
The ball mount I recommend for this hitch is part # AMSC2. This has a 3/4-inch rise or a 2-inch drop. for a hitch pin and clip I recommend part # PC3.
For a 1-7/8-inch trailer ball I recommend part # 19260. If you need a 2-inch trailer ball I recommend part # 63845.
If you need to install a 4-way connector for towing a trailer, I recommend part # C55411. This harness is hardwired to your existing wiring located either along the frame rail or behind the rear bumper on your van and gives you a 4-way connector at the rear of your vehicle.
When wiring a harness, I also recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993.
